Established in 2009MECA, formally known as SEEC was founded in 2009 and is not necessarily a new organization, but rather a transformation of SEEC to be more reflective of the whole CTE-Education General program under the 13.000 cip code.
Who are we?MECA is a non-profit, professional organization for those who are involved in teaching and learning about the world of education. Members share a common interest of understanding and participating in a variety of educational experiences.

Our VisionOur vision is that with a new name and focus, we can move forward as one large, strong group that is helping to shape future education professionals, and the future of the educational system as a whole. We want to build a resource for instructors to use to communicate with each other, share ideas with (and borrow from!).
