About Us

Find out about our organization and meet our executive board.

Who are we?

MECA is a non-profit, professional organization for those who are involved in teaching and learning about the world of education. Members share a common interest of understanding and participating in a variety of educational experiences. MECA, formally known as SEEC, was founded in 2009 and is a transformation of SEEC to be more reflective of the whole CTE Education General program under the 13.000 CIP code.

See our bylaws here.

Our Vision

Our vision is that we can move forward as a strong group that is helping to shape future education professionals, and the future of the educational system as a whole. We are working to do that through our collaborative network, shared resources, and professional learning.

Our Executive Board

Our Executive Board Members are committed to building MECA into a strong organization that supports its members.
